What is the origin story of TAPKIT?
We are dealing with hydroponics since 2000, in our own farm Since 2004, we were selling the technology worldwide, for large scale farms. In the last few year we received many inquiries for small scale units, still commercial, which led us to the development of TAPKIT. An affordable solution for family farmers.
What are some of the biggest challenges facing TAPKIT in the future?
We developed a support app for the farm, and we are developing a solution for diseases and pest detection system.
What is unique about TAPKIT compared to competitors?
TAPKIT offers total solution, including training and support via App included in the package, for the best price.
How do you measure the impact of TAPKIT so far? (Revenue, Employees, Customer Quantity, Production Volume) etc?
There are already 80 units installed worldwide, creating jobs and developing locally grown businesses. TAPKIT is installed in few resorts and touristic island offering these resorts to produce their own leafy greens.
What have you learned that you wish you knew when you joined or started the company?
We have learned that the best way to sell is having a working demo unit, in each market that we want to penetrate.
